NBA MVP 2009

The race for MVP in the NBA is heating up. The top 3 candidates for me are LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Paul. LeBron James is very important to his team and has proven that he can carry the Cavaliers. The Cavaliers lead the league in the win percentage and since they play so well at home if they lead the league in wins they will have home-court advantage throughout the playoffs and that could very well win the NBA Final because of this.
As for Dwayne Wade his team the Heat will probably not make the Finals because of the Heats lack of supporting talent. Without Dwayne Wade though the Heat wouldn't even be in the playoffs. Dwayne leads the league in scoring and has the ability to put his team on his shoulders and lead them to victory like against the Bulls when he stole the ball and made a running 3 to win the game and that was a MVP like game.
Chris Paul has great stats and is as important to his team as Dwayne Wade, and LeBron James. Chris Paul leads the league in assists with 11.0 and averages 22.8 points per game which could win someone the MVP alone. Chris has leadrship skills and he has revolutionized the point guard poisition almost as much as Magic Johnson. Chris has the most amazing stats that I have ever seen and is important to his team which is why he could win MVP.
Please leave comments about who should win MVP out of these 3.

Jay Cutler's Trade

There’s a huge trade going the right way for the Chicago Bears. Now I’ve know you all know about the trade involving Jay Cutler and Kyle Orton. Now, what does this do for the Bears and Broncos? Well for the Bears they get a prolific passer which is something they’ve been looking for many years. Jay Cutler passed for over 4500 yards and had 25 passing touchdowns which is more than any Bear quarterback has ever passed for in the long history of the Bears. This trade is great for Jay as well because he will have something he didn’t have with the Broncos which is a great running game. With the running game that the Bears have paired with Jay Cutlers incredible passing skills teams will be on their toes knowing that the Bears have a great running game and a awesome passing game which is something the Bears have not had, I think in their history.

The only problems I can see with Jay Cutler going to Chicago is that in college Ron Turner supposedly gave a scholarship to Jay Cutler and at the last second took the scholarship away at the last second. Jay Cutler said that Ron lied to the media by saying that he never offered a scholarship to Jay. There still could be some bad blood between those two. As for Denver I don’t know what they were thinking in trading away there franchise player! They get two first round draft picks but Jay Cutler is worth more than that. Also if the Broncos didn’t replace the entire staff they would still have one of the best quarterbacks in the league.

Bottom line is that Jay Cutler will bring the Bears to many wins and possibly make the most feared team in the league with a potent offense and solid defense.
